I got bored the other day and decided that I would actually finish the wedding cake that I had started on last month. lol Only problem was that the blue that I had used for the outer fondant layer was cracking (heat + cold due to our AC) so I decided to make it white instead. It's a little more of a "traditional" cake, but I think I like how it turned out
As you can see, I can only make roses. xP I'll eventually learn how to make other flowers some day.
Plus, I know this particular cake design has been done to death by wedding-cake making peoples, but it's so pretty~ @_@
Dimensions: 2 1/2" tall x 1 3/4" wide at the base

wow this is one cool cake, but how did you keep the clay all nice and white? i try to make cakes that are white, but since i add other decorations the colors usually stain the white, how do you avoid that?
i usually keep a bowl of water handy (for the lint) and some rubbing alcohol and a CLEAN paintbrush by my side when i work with white. cleaning your hands often and drying them with a clean WHITE towel before touching the white clay helps a lot.
Hehe this is cute!!! I saw the first image and I was like 'Wow!' then i saw it in the hand and I went 'What the!? What's wrong with this picture here....' Hehehe! took me a minute to realize that cake would never feed an entire wedding reception lol!
