A couple of earrings I made for two of my friends here at school to thank them for setting up a birthday dinner for me tomorrow night.  They're the best!Although, if it wasn't for the boyfriend's big mouth, they would never have known. lol *smooch* xP But yeah... they're made from Japanese washi papers that have gold etching... they've been lacquered to the point where they're pretty much like soft plastic... so... you know... they won't bend outta shape and things.  If you look at the black ones, you will be able to see that I also used an iridescent glaze - you know, the one that looks clear in one direction but purple if you shift it just ever so slightly? xP You can't see it so well on the green, but like... it's on both... trust me.  Materials: Washi paper, Mod Podge, Jacquard mica pigments - "interference violet", silver-plated findings, Swarovski 4mm bicone in "Morion" and "Peridot" Dimensions: about 2.5" long from the base of the ear wire ------- Please do not take the image without my consent. my biggest problem with them is when they get moisture in them and you go to puff it up at the end but it just sort of collapses on itself. >_< i'm not sure if that's what you're talking about, but most of my friends have that problem too.
