Mini Sandwiches by HanaClayWorks Mini Sandwiches by HanaClayWorks
These are supposed to be the mini cookie sandwiches that I used to get at lunch sometimes. There are five types (from top row, starting on the left): cheese, chocolate, oreo, vanilla, peanut butter. Oh, the days of youth! ^___^

Made with Fimo clay, colored with pastel sticks, unglazed, and 18 gauge wire.

Dimensions: approximately 1/2" wide by 1/4" high

-------
Oreos, etc. are copyright by Nabisco/Kraft Foods. Obviously, I didn't come up with the product ideas for all of these.

I only have white and beige clay too. lol In hindsight, I should've bought the color packs, but oh well.

To color them with the pastel sticks, when you're conditioning the clay, use the pastel sticks to rub some color onto paper. Pastels are almost like chalk in consistency so when you rub 'em on paper, they give off the little color pigment powders. Work those powders into the clay until you have a color that you want. It might take a little while to make it as dark as you'd like. If the clay gets too dry, I find that putting a dot of oil into the clay with my finger helps to re-moisten it. :P

I think this way is better than getting colored clay since sometimes, you really only need a little bit of something so there's no point in getting the whole pack. Plus, I suck at painting.

Hope it helps... feel free to ask more if you need it to be more clear.
